Like the Appellate Court, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has adjourned the case against the Senate President, Bukola Saraki to the 5th and 6th of November 2015, in wait for the decision at the former court.

Chairman of the CCT, Danladi Umar ruled at the resumption of the trial noting that it will await the determination of a notice of appeal for stay of execution filed by the president of the senate at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

At the tribunal which Saraki attended with 34 senators, Rotimi Jacobs, the prosecuting counsel had moved a motion before the tribunal seeking for an adjournment pending the ruling on the appeal.

“In view of the ruling which was adjourned indefinitly on monday,
October 19, 2015, prosecuting counsel urged the CCT as a need to maintain the integrity of the court to await judgement from the appealate court” noted Rotimi Jacobs.
