Jegede Wins Wards
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede, has won his polling unit at Unit 009, Ward 2, Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral Akure Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to results of the 10 October, 2020 Ondo State governorship election declared in two wards,
Jegede got 220 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, who is also the incumbent governor of the state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who polled 60 votes. The candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, Ajayi Agboola, garnered seven votes.
Jegede also won at the second unit in the Sacred Heart Primary School. He got 158 votes, Akorodolu scored 43 votes while Agboola garnered four votes.
