Lagos State Government has directed its civil servants from Grade Levels 1 – 12 to resume work from Monday, November 2.
A statement issued by the Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said the directive is in accordance with the recommendations of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and advisory of the State Ministry of Health.
Muri-Okunola urged all heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies to ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and guide against the spread of the coronavirus in their respective MDAs.
He also directed the opening of attendance duty rosters in all State Government establishments.
InsideBusiness.ng recalls that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on October 31 lifted the curfew imposed on the state with immediate effect.
The governor had on October 20 imposed a 24-hour curfew state-wide following the violence that erupted in the state over the alleged killings of the EndSARS protesters at Lekki Toll Plaza.
