Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, has left the Super Eagles’ camp and set to return to Napoli on Tuesday due to injury.
Osimhen dislocated his shoulder during Nigeria’s 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone in a 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last Friday.
The 21-year-old fell awkwardly while contesting for the ball in the second half and was stretchered off.
He has already been ruled out of the reverse fixture in Freetown on Tuesday.
Osimhen will now return to Italy, where he will undergo tests ahead of their Serie A clash against AC Milan.
The injury is not believed to be serious, but Napoli is concerned about the condition and wants their doctors to have a look.
