Tottenham Thrash Burnley To Renew Top Four Hope
Spurs attain top four, at least for the next 32 hours after Harry Kane’s penalty settled the home game.
It was a tough match, as both sides showed their physical and mental strength as well providing their football technicalities and skills.
The match was an eventful one as there were seven shots on targets and twenty-one shots off-targets for both teams, ten corners were taken as well with nineteen fouls recorded.
Spurs are now in the top four race owing to a victorious match at their home stadium over Burnley, this was due to Harry Kane’s debatable penalty, although Burnley Keeper, Nick Pope made a lot of important saves, blocking two outstanding saves from Son Heung – Min, even though Burnley came very close to an equaliser when Ashley Barnes shivered the post from a long distance but they were not close enough.
“I shared frustrations with current handball la, was,” David Keech says, “seems very unfair, However, er if we went to an ‘intentional only’ law, defenders could spread their arms adding a huge area to block and claim any ball hitting arms as ‘unintentional”, “it’s a tough one, I see it both ways”. He continued.
As Tottenham Hotspur moves to the fourth position, Burnley stays at the seventeenth position.
