Nicholas Felix Steps Down For Osinbajo
Nicholas Felix, an All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has stepped down in favor of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
On Tuesday night, he confirmed this during his speech at the party’s special convention in Abuja.
He claims that the APC “must not produce a Muslim-Muslim” ticket.
Felix then urged his delegates to vote for Osinbajo as well. He is the first aspirant to resign in support of Osinbajo.
At least six presidential candidates, including Governor Kayode Fayemi, Godswill Akpabio, and Dimeji Bankole, have stepped down to make way for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC’s National Leader.
