The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu has been identified as the second in command in the fresh list of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) released on Wednesday night.
Recall that the earlier list released by the ruling party had stirred crisis in the party with some stakeholders threatening to withdraw from the party’s campaign.
Members of the National Working Committee of the party who were not pleased with the list released a few weeks back seem to have been included in the new list.
President Muhammadu Buhari was retained as the Chairman of the council in the list which was signed by the National Secretary of the party, Iyiola Omisore.
The presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu stand as the Deputy Chairman II in the list.
Adamu has now been chosen as the Deputy Chairman I in the list, while the vice presidential candidate of the party, Kashim Shettima remains the vice chairman of the council.
The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong retains his position as Director General, while former National Chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole was named as Deputy Director-General, Operations and James Faleke as Secretary of the party’s presidential campaign council.
