Falcons’ Camp Opens In Addis Ababa As Nigeria Battles Ethiopia Wednesday
On Wednesday, Barcelona Femeni Forward Asisat Oshoala, Michelle Alozie, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and other invited Super Falcons stars were expected to arrive in Addis Ababa ahead of their Olympic Games qualifier against Ethiopia.
Ademola Olajire, NFF Director, Media, said Randy Waldrum, the Super Falcons’ manager, would fly straight from his United States base to the camp, just as all Europe-based stars would do.
“All foreign-based players must arrive in Addis Ababa by Sunday. The match is scheduled for October 25,” Olajire said.
According to reports, CAF has appointed Togolese referees for the encounter, which decisive leg will hold at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, six days later.
Ethiopia eliminated Chad in the first round of the Olympics qualifying series, while the Falcons drew a bye.
