Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that midfielders Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni are fit for the team’s Champions League opener against Stuttgart on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bellingham and Tchouameni’s return is a boost for the 15-time champions, who begin their title defense. Although defender Eder Militao missed Monday’s training, Ancelotti assured that the Brazilian would be ready for the match.

“Bellingham and Tchouameni are both fine, and Militao will be ready as well,” said Ancelotti. However, the team will be without Brahim Diaz due to injury.

Bellingham had been sidelined with a calf injury since August, missing four La Liga matches. His teammate Dani Carvajal praised his return, saying, “It’s fantastic news for what he brings on and off the field.”

Ancelotti reaffirmed Madrid’s determination to succeed in the competition: “We’re as excited as ever. The Champions League is special for Real Madrid, and we’ll fight to compete until the end.”
