Uzo Oshogwe Replaces Dupe Olusola at Transcorp Hotel
Transcorp Hotel Plc (THP), a leading player in Nigeria’s hospitality sector, has appointed Uzo Oshogwe as its new Managing Director effective January 1, 2025.
Oshogwe, who is replacing the outgoing managing director, Dupe Olusola, is currently the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd and brings over three decades of professional experience across diverse industries, including leadership roles at United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK. Her extensive expertise in management, investment, and organisational development is expected to drive Transcorp Hotels Plc to greater heights.
Oshogwe holds a BSc in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, and an MSc in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London. She also earned a professional certificate in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, USA, and is an RICS-accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.
A Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Oshogwe is an alumna of Lagos Business School and IESE, Spain, where she attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and Chief Executive Programme. Her diverse educational background and practical experience position her well to lead Transcorp Hotels Plc into its next growth phase.
