The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has convened an emergency meeting at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, in a bid to resolve the party’s ongoing leadership crisis.
The meeting aims to address issues surrounding the multiple court rulings affecting the dispute over the position of the National Secretary and to find a way forward for the party amid its internal challenges.
Key party figures present at the meeting include BoT Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara; BoT Secretary, Senator Ahmed Makarfi; former Governors Achike Udenwa, Sam Egwu, Babangida Aliyu, Senator Ben Obi, and Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola, among others.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on critical decisions to restore stability within the party.
