The adult content platform OnlyFans announced on Monday the death of its billionaire owner, Leo Radvinsky, who passed away at the age of 43 following a long battle with cancer. The company expressed profound sorrow at the loss of its founder and major stakeholder.

A spokesperson for OnlyFans said in a statement, “Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.” Radvinsky’s death reportedly occurred in Pompano Beach, Florida, where he lived with his family.

Born in Ukraine, Radvinsky became a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur and amassed a personal fortune estimated at $4.7 billion, largely from his ownership of Fenix International Limited, the company that holds a majority stake in OnlyFans. Under his leadership, OnlyFans experienced unprecedented growth after he acquired the platform from the Stokely family in 2018.

Radvinsky, who served as both director and majority shareholder, was known not only for his business acumen but also for his philanthropic efforts and work as an angel investor. During his tenure, the subscription-based platform grew exponentially, with users reportedly spending a record $7.2 billion on the site in 2024 alone. Bloomberg reports that Radvinsky drew $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025.

Last year, Radvinsky explored the possibility of selling OnlyFans but faced challenges finding a buyer, largely due to the platform’s adult content business model. Despite this, he remained a key figure in the company and in the wider tech and entertainment industries, shaping the way digital subscription platforms operate globally.

Radvinsky’s passing marks the loss of one of the most influential and controversial figures in the online content economy, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, wealth creation, and philanthropy.
