The National Youth Service Corps has officially released the NYSC call-up letters for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II. Early on Monday morning, the scheme updated its portal with deployment details and official numbers for thousands of eager graduates. Many candidates have already confirmed seeing their posting locations via the online dashboard, marking a major milestone in their journey to national service.

Accessing the Portal

While the NYSC call-up letters are now available, several prospective corps members have reported slow loading speeds. High traffic on the official website has made it difficult for some to log in quickly. Candidates are currently sharing their experiences on social media, discussing their assigned states and the technical delays they faced while trying to download their documents.

PCMs can check their call-up letters here: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/ or https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/

Orientation and Safety Guidelines

According to a statement from spokesperson Caroline Embu, the orientation course is set to begin on 22nd April 2026. Registration will take place over three days, followed by the official swearing-in ceremony on the Friday. The entire camp exercise will conclude on 12th May.

The management has issued a stern warning regarding travel safety. They urge all prospective corps members to avoid travelling at night. The scheme suggests that anyone on the road should find a safe place to rest by 6:00 pm and finish their journey the next morning. This latest update completes the final stage of preparation as the new stream gets ready to serve the nation.
