Shettima Praises Tinubu’s Leadership Record
Vice President Kashim Shettima said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown strong leadership and delivered progress through the Renewed Hope Agenda. He urged Nigerians to support the administration’s reforms, describing unity and cooperation as vital for national development and stability.
Vice President Kashim Shettima says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fulfilled key promises under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda despite economic and political challenges.
In a statement released on Thursday, Shettima praised Tinubu’s leadership and described him as a capable leader who has guided Nigeria through difficult periods. According to the Vice President, the administration has already achieved measurable progress in economic reforms, national stability, and governance since taking office.
Speaking on the government’s performance, Shettima said: “President Tinubu has proved his mettle and demonstrated his capacity to the world. The Renewed Hope Agenda has already yielded tangible successes under this administration.”
The Vice President argued that recent national difficulties have strengthened the President’s leadership qualities rather than weakened them. He compared Tinubu’s handling of challenges to the actions of an experienced sailor navigating rough waters.
“The storms of recent years have not diminished him; instead, they have forged him into a seasoned sailor who has steered the ship through turbulent waters,” he stated.
Throughout his remarks, Shettima repeatedly highlighted the Renewed Hope Agenda as the foundation of the administration’s reforms and policy direction. He maintained that the government’s efforts continue to focus on rebuilding confidence, improving economic conditions, and promoting long-term national development.
The Vice President also appealed to Nigerians to support Tinubu’s leadership and unite behind the administration’s vision for the country. According to him, national cooperation and collective commitment remain essential for sustained progress and stability.
“For this reason, I stand with him and urge all Nigerians to do the same,” Shettima added.
The statement comes as the administration continues to defend its policies and reforms amid ongoing public debate about Nigeria’s economic direction and governance challenges.
