AMVCA 2026: Full Winners List as ‘My Father’s Shadow’ Emerges Biggest Winner in Lagos
The 2026 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards brought together some of Africa’s biggest entertainment stars in Lagos on Saturday night as filmmakers, actors, producers, and digital creators were honoured for outstanding achievements in film, television, and digital storytelling.
The glamorous ceremony celebrated excellence across multiple categories, with My Father’s Shadow emerging as one of the biggest winners of the night after clinching the prestigious Best Movie award alongside victories in directing and music categories.
Actor Uzor Arukwe won Best Lead Actor for his role in Colours of Fire, while Bucci Franklin secured the Best Supporting Actor award for To Kill A Monkey.
Rising actress Uche Montana was also honoured with the Trailblazer Award for her growing impact in the African entertainment industry.
