Lionel Messi delivered another brilliant performance as Inter Miami fought back to beat Cincinnati 5-3 in a thrilling MLS encounter on Wednesday. The victory extended Miami’s away-winning streak to seven matches and highlighted Messi’s growing influence in the club’s impressive run this season.

The Argentine superstar finished the match with two goals and one assist, marking the third time this campaign he has recorded at least three goal contributions in a single game. Lionel Messi now has 11 league goals, placing him among the top scorers in Major League Soccer.

Miami opened the scoring in the 24th minute after Messi redirected a shot that deflected off Cincinnati defender Matt Miazga near goal. However, Kevin Denkey levelled for the home side before half-time from the penalty spot.

Cincinnati returned strongly after the break and moved ahead through Pavel Bucha in the 49th minute. Yet Lionel Messi responded quickly six minutes later after finishing calmly from a clever pass by Luis Suarez.
