World Cup: Larin Rescues Canada in Group B Opener

Canada’s Group B draw was secured late on after substitute Cyle Larin scored an important equaliser in a thrilling 1-1 contest against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.

The turning point arrived in the 76th minute when Cyle Larin entered the match from the bench. Just three minutes later, he made an immediate impact. The striker reacted quickly inside the box, turned sharply and fired a shot that took a deflection before finding the net.

The goal secured a deserved result and ensured that Canada’s Group B draw remained alive after a spirited comeback. While Bosnia came close to claiming all three points, Larin’s late intervention earned Canada a valuable point and delighted the home supporters.
