Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has received medical treatment after a motorcycle accident during a movie production left her injured. The actress shared details of the incident through a video posted on her Instagram page, showing moments from the film set, the crash and her hospital care.
According to the footage, Oko was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle being operated by fellow actor Victory Michael while filming a scene. The situation became dangerous when the motorcycle reportedly collided with a metal pole connected to a vehicle barrier at the shooting location.
The impact injured Michael and caused him to lose control of the motorcycle, resulting in Oko being thrown to the ground. Videos from the aftermath showed crew members and other actors quickly responding as the actress cried out in pain before she was taken to hospital for urgent treatment.
Further clips showed Omeche Oko receiving medical attention, including injections and other procedures to treat injuries sustained from the accident. The actress later reflected on the experience, expressing gratitude for surviving what could have been a more serious incident.
“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God,” she wrote.
The incident generated widespread support from fans, colleagues and followers, who shared prayers and messages of encouragement online. Many highlighted the risks actors face while creating entertainment content.
