Mrs Ajimobi, who serves as Nigeria’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Republic of Austria and the international organisations in Vienna, announced the development in a post shared on her Facebook page. She described the ceremony as the beginning of her official responsibilities and reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening relations between both countries.
“Today, I had the honour of presenting my Copie d’Usage to Ambassador Maximilian Hennig, Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Austria.
“This important diplomatic step marks the commencement of my official engagement as Ambassador and reflects the strong and cordial relations between our two countries.
“I look forward to working closely with the Austrian Government to further strengthen our bilateral cooperation and advance our shared interests.
“I extend my sincere appreciation to Ambassador Hennig and the Office of the Chief of Protocol for the warm reception and courtesies extended to me.”
