APC Chairman Predicts Tinubu Victory in 2027 Election

APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda says President Bola Tinubu has strong support ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a major victory in the 2027 elections. He claimed the party already has about 12 million assured votes from its registered members across Nigeria.

Yilwatda made the statement on Friday in Abuja during the submission of nomination forms for Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as the party’s candidates for the upcoming presidential race. He said the strong backing Tinubu received during the APC presidential primary showed the level of support expected during the election.

The APC chairman added that Nigerians benefiting from government programmes and projects could further strengthen the President’s chances at the polls. He said, “Today is a reflection of the wishes of over 12 million members of the APC who overwhelmingly voted Mr President as the party’s candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

“We already have 12 million votes in the kitty for Mr President,” he said.

The APC 2027 election plans will focus on promoting the administration’s achievements, according to Yilwatda. He encouraged governors, party leaders and supporters to return to their states and share what he described as the government’s progress.

“What we need is to focus on the success stories of Mr President and what he has done across the country. Nigerians have seen the difference between policies that touch the people and governance that impacts lives,” he said.

Yilwatda described Tinubu as the strongest candidate for the 2027 presidential election and said the party expects widespread success nationwide. The APC 2027 election plans are built around publicising government achievements and mobilising supporters ahead of the polls.

He added, “We are not afraid and we are not in doubt of our success. There is no shaking at all. Come 2027, our victory as a party is assured.”
