Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Mason Greenwood from Olympique de Marseille in a deal worth €39 million ($44.5 million), the Turkish club announced on Tuesday.
The Mason Greenwood transfer was agreed between Fenerbahce, the player and the French club. Under the terms of the agreement, the transfer fee will be paid in three equal instalments over the next three years. The Istanbul club also confirmed that it will cover any solidarity payments required under FIFA regulations.
Greenwood joined Marseille from Manchester United in July 2024 after ending his long association with the Premier League club. He signed a five-year contract with the French side before spending two productive seasons there.
During his time at Marseille, the 24-year-old forward scored 37 league goals in 66 appearances, establishing himself as one of the club’s key attacking players. His performances attracted interest as Fenerbahce looked to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
The Mason Greenwood transfer is expected to boost Fenerbahce’s attacking options as the club aims to end its long wait for a Turkish top-flight title.
