Chocolate City Staff Sues Odumodublvck Over Alleged Assault

A staff member of Chocolate City Limited has filed a lawsuit against Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Ogbodo, over an alleged assault at a music festival in Lagos.

The claimant, who works as a project manager and public relations officer for the record label, filed the case at the Lagos State High Court, alleging that the incident happened on 22 December 2025 during the Flytime Music Festival at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

According to court documents dated 6 June 2026, the disagreement reportedly started as a conversation backstage before developing into alleged verbal threats and physical confrontation. The claimant said the incident caused physical pain, shock and emotional distress.

The Odumodublvck lawsuit further alleges that an associate of the rapper poured an alcoholic drink on him during the confrontation. The claimant stated that he later received medical treatment, wore a neck support and was advised to take strict rest, affecting his professional duties.

Following a formal request for compensation from his legal representatives, the Chocolate City employee proceeded with the case, seeking damages linked to medical challenges, lost productivity and disruption to his work.

The legal action adds to existing legal concerns involving the rapper. Odumodublvck is also facing a separate assault case filed by Levi Ogbogiri, which is currently before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The latest claim remains a legal matter, and the allegations have not been proven in court. The case will now proceed through the judicial process, where both sides will have the opportunity to present their positions.
