Zenith Bank has announced that holders of its Naira debit cards can now conduct international transactions of up to $50,000 annually.
The bank disclosed the development in a customer-facing announcement, indicating that its Naira cards are now enabled for international transactions within the stated annual limit.
The new arrangement covers Zenith Bank Naira debit cards, including its Gold and Platinum debit cards, giving customers the ability to make eligible international payments using their existing Naira cards.
According to the bank, the annual international transaction limit is $50,000, providing customers with increased capacity for cross-border payments and other eligible international card transactions.
The development comes as Nigerian banks continue to expand card-based payment options and improve access to international payment services for customers.
The Bank also reminded customers that they can block their accounts in emergencies by dialling 966911#, while its customer service channels remain available for enquiries and support.
