Carter Efe TikTok Account Permanently Banned
Carter Efe has lost his TikTok account with more than 5.6 million followers after repeated community guideline violations.
Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe has lost his official TikTok account after the platform permanently banned the page for repeated breaches of its community guidelines.
TikTok confirmed the Carter Efe TikTok ban on Wednesday, stating that the account had violated its policies on several occasions.
Before its removal, the account had attracted more than 5.6 million followers and recorded over 158 million likes. It had become one of Carter Efe’s main platforms for sharing comedy videos, promoting music and connecting with fans through live broadcasts.
The latest ban is not the comedian’s first experience with losing a TikTok account.
In June 2025, TikTok removed another account belonging to Carter Efe. That page had about 3.5 million followers when the platform took it down.

The earlier action came after a controversy surrounding comments Carter Efe made about Nigerian singer Wizkid during a livestream. The skit maker later apologised over the incident and returned to TikTok.
After his return, Carter Efe gradually rebuilt his audience. His replacement account eventually surpassed 5.6 million followers before TikTok permanently banned it.
The latest Carter Efe TikTok ban could therefore affect one of the comedian’s biggest channels for reaching his audience and promoting his creative work.
Carter Efe has also recently spoken about another part of his career: his former relationship content.
During a recent episode of Cocktails & Takeaways, the comedian explained why he stopped producing relationship-focused videos with his former girlfriend.
He discussed the relationship content they previously created together and spoke about some of the difficulties he experienced while making videos with his former partner.
The TikTok ban adds another setback for the skit maker, who had previously managed to rebuild a large following after losing his earlier account in 2025.
For now, the platform’s decision means Carter Efe’s latest account, which had grown beyond five million followers and generated more than 158 million likes, is no longer available to users.
Do you think Carter Efe can rebuild his TikTok audience again after the latest ban?
