A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted conditional bail of N400 million bond to Olisa Metuh, the spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party,( PDP)
Metuh who is also to submit his international passport, must provide two sureties with N200 million each. The sureties must have properties in Maitama district of Abuja.
The PDP spokesperson was taken to court on Tuesday in handcuffs was accused of receiving N400 million from funds designated for arms but allegedly diverted by the office of the National Security Adviser.
Metuh has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for about two weeks was remanded in Kuje prisons last Friday on the order of the court.
