In a bid for a global buy-in for the current administration, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has travelled to Switzerland to highlight Nigeria’s prospects to participants at this year’s World Economic Forum holding in Davos.
The vice-president who will represent Nigeria at the annual global event will participate in a number of panels discussing the prospects of the Nigerian economy under President Muhammadu Buhari.
Osinbajo is also expected to meet with other world leaders to get further support in bolstering up the economy.
Buhari and Osinbajo took over the reins of government at a time the Nigeria’s economy has been battered by the plunge in the global oil prices and massive corruption that has plundered its resources.
Osinbajo left Abuja Thursday and is expected back in the country on Saturday.
