Nigeria’s representative on the United States Latin America Chamber of Commerce of Committee (USLACC) Mrs Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu has urged the government to encourage private sector participation in national economic affairs like other developed countries.
Ejiogu, in a statement in Abuja In a statement on the forthcoming program of the committee in Baltimore, Maryland, United States from November 14-17 stated that organisation like USLACC promotes trade and humanitarian investment between Africa and other parts of the world.
She noted the involvement of foreign partners to further stimulate investments in the country during the programme entitled: “Uplifting and showcasing Pan-Africanism and her rich potential and cultural heritage” adding more than 30 participants would participate in the exhibition from across Africa and abroad.
She explained: “USLACC is establishing trade relations across the world to widen global market and investments in Nigeria for economic empowerment.
“The organisation is committed to marking members connect to avenues that will enrich and solve their financial needs as well as open doors for the global market.
“It engages in empowerment projects that strengthen the business of existing firms, startups and establish entrepreneurship, seminars, financial empowerment, and workshops.”
