He disclosed that plans are underway to ensure that all those difficult areas in the North-west, North-east and the South-south like the creeks, will be able to exercise their civic responsibility.
He explained that the commission had used gunboat to access some areas in the creek in previous elections, adding that INEC is in talks with security agencies and engaging in lots of intelligence gathering to ensure that the commission conducts a hitch-free election, even though it is not the primary responsibility of INEC to provide security.
Osaze spoke in respect of the cards burnt in Abia State that they have been replaced already. It will be recalled that hoodlums had set INEC office on fire in Isialangwa South Local Government Area of Abia State recently. He added the figures of those who have collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) will be made public soon before the election.
