NSE Lists StanbicIBTC Holdings N1.17bn Additional Shares

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Thursday listed additional 31,515,400 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc’s valued at N1.17 billion bearing in mind the N37 per unit of share, which the stock closed on Wednesday, December 18.
The listing was disclosed to the investing public by the NSE via a notice by the Exchange’s Head, Listings Regulation, Godstime Iwenekhai, Thursday, December 19
According to the notice, “the additional shares of 31,515,400 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each arose as a result of the Scrip Dividend offered to eligible shareholders of Stanbic IBTC who elected to receive ordinary shares in lieu of cash dividends with respect to the N1.00 final dividend declared for the half-year ended 30 June 2019.”
The shareholders had elected to receive ordinary shares in lieu of cash dividends with respect to the N1 final dividend declared for the half-year (H1) ended June 30, 2019.
With this listing of 31,515,400 ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid-up shares of the Company has now increased from 10,473,451,958 to 10,504,967,358 ordinary shares.
