No Legal, Medical Maneuver Can Stop Death – Obasanjo Throws Last Punch At Kashamu

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday threw the last jab at late Senator Buruji Kashamu, who succumbed to the cold hands of death in Lagos.
Obasanjo, in a condolence letter to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, said Kashamu used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on alleged criminal offence in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
Condoling the governor over Kashamu’s death, Obasanjo said “the news of the PDP stalwart was sad. The life and history of the departed have lessons for those of all us on this side of the veil.
“Senator Esho Jinadu (Buruji Kashmu) in his lifetime used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on alleged criminal offence in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
“But no legal, political, cultural, social or even medical manoeuvre could stop the cold hand of death when the Creator of all of us decides that the time is up.”
The former president, however, pray that Allah forgives Kashamu’s sin and accept his soul into Aljanah.
“May God grant his family and friends fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Obasanjo added.
