Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc (IBEDC) has created 13 new customer care offices in Ogun state as part of measures to ensure prompt service delivery.
Speaking at the commissioning of the offices, IBEDC’s Chief Operating Officer, John Ayodele said the expansion of its customer care offices is a deliberate plan to bring services closer to the customers.
The newly established offices, he noted, are to ensure easier accessibility and convenience for customers, thereby leading to stronger interactions, feedback and facilitate robust and quick responses to customers’ enquiries and complaints.
“As a customer-oriented company, we are constantly developing initiatives and services that deliberately bring us closer to the customers, right where they live or do business.
“The offices are located far from the regional office at Abeokuta to remove the stress of customers travelling long distances to get complaints resolved,” the COO stated.
Ayodele also explained that the offices are strategically located across the state in areas such as: Owode-Yewa, Itele, Ilogbo, Magboro, Ogijo, Ilaro, Ifo, Mowe, Imo, Ago- Iwoye, Ijebu- Ife, Ashimolowo and Olumo communities
He urged customers to take advantage of any of the customer care offices closer to them to enjoy better and faster service.
He added that the expansion in Ogun state was the first phase of the company’s expansion project within its franchise area.
He gave the customer care platform 07001239999 and [email protected] to customers and that they shouldn’t hesitate to reach the distribution company any time of the day.
