Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu bowed to pressure on Tuesday in joining the Lagos EndSARS protests.
The Lagos EndSARS protesters in Lekki had on Monday resisted the pleadings and entreaties of the governor not to obstruct the road.
A viral video seen by InsideBusiness showed the protesters throwing sachets of water and other objects at the governor’s vehicle.
But the governor on Tuesday joined the march with the protesters, who were all glad and excited seeing the governor.
The governor is expected to meet President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday in Abuja over the Lagos EndSARS protest and Police reforms.
