Edo Boils As Hoodlums Set Prisoners Free, Police Station On Fire

The EndSARS protests have taken a new dimension in Edo State where some hoodlums have broken into the Prison along Sapele road and setting the Ova Market police station on fire after being vandalised 
 
Eyewitnesses confirmed to InsideBusiness.ng on Monday that the hoodlums set the prisoners free while the men and officers attached to the police station had to jump fence to escape.
 
 
The protesters had earlier on Monday blocked major routes in Edo State, as the protest enters its sixth day in the state.
 
InsideBusiness.ng learnt that the protesters mounted roadblocks on major roads as well as set bonfires on the roads.
 
The major roads blocked by the protesters include Benin-Lagos road by the bye-pass, Ikpoba hill road blocked at Agbor Park road leading to Asaba,  Ikpoba hill road blocked at Eyean road leading to Auchi, Sapele road blocked at bypass leading to Warri in Delta State, Ekehuan road by the university second campus, and the main gate of the University of Benin.
