United Capital Appoints Two Non-Executive Directors.

Dipo Fatokun and Sutura Aisha Bello have been appointed into the board of United Capital Plc as Independent Non-Executive Directors.

The Company Secretary, Leo Okafor, disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen on Monday, adding that the appointment was subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals.

Okafor said that Dipo Fatokun has about thirty (30) years experience in the financial services industry, having worked in different capacities at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Secretary added that Prior to his resent appointment as an Independent Non-Executive Director, Fatokun was the Director of Banking Services at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He is also an alumnus of University of Lagos, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and University of Ilorin where he obtained a B.Sc. in Accounting.

Fatokun is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

The statement further reveals that Sutura Aisha Bello is a seasoned PPP/Project Finance Professional with over thirty(30) years experience in commercial, financial and project management.

Satura has led multiple projects for the World Bank, DFID and OPEC Fund for International  Development across a wide range of sectors.

She is also an alumnus of the Southern New Hampshire University, USA, and University of Maiduguri, Nigeria where she obtained Masters degrees in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from the former, and a B.Sc. Degree in Economics from the latter.
