Liverpool moved to the brink of the Champions League quarter-finals as Jurgen Klopp’s men found their rhythm in a 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig in Budapest in their last-16 first leg on Tuesday.

Leipzig, unable to play the game at home due to coronavirus restrictions in Germany, were made to pay for two dreadful defensive errors early in the second half as goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane put the English champions in total control of the tie and ended a run of three straight defeats.
