VFD Group, a proprietary investment company has begun to receive application for its 2021 Graduate Trainee Program.
The exercise opened Friday, August 27, 2021, and ends on Friday, September 3, 2021.
The programme is the fourth edition in the company’s efforts to equip fresh graduates with requisite training, development, and emotional intelligence to help them to function in their chosen careers.
VFD Group is a proprietary investment company that focuses on building positive and socially conscious ecosystems by aggregating potentially viable businesses with the objective of creating innovative products and solutions that are accessible to the everyday Nigerian citizen and entrepreneur.
The effort is to bridge the unemployment deficit which increases at an alarming rate in Nigeria.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows unemployment rate in Nigeria increased to 33.30 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2020 from 27.10 per cent in the second quarter of 2020.
The Group Head, Human Resources, Damola Andah said VFD Group’s training program is to help build and sustain talent development so that they can contribute significantly to the nation’s economy.
