Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami has approved the appointment of Bulus Yakubu as acting Post-Master General (PMG) and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Postal Services (NIPOST).
He was appointed to replace Dr. Ismail Adewusi, who was appointed as NIPOST PMG in 2019.
NIPOST Director, Corporate Communications, Franklyn Alao dropped the hintbon Thursday in Abuja, saying that Yakubu was the secretary to NIPOST governing board, director (special duties) and also NIPOST liaison officer to the National Assembly before his appointment.
Yakubu, who obtained a Bachelor in Law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (ICAN)and a fellow of the Institute for Fraud Management and Control (IFMC).
Also, he belongs to the International Bar Association (IBA) and Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
According to Alao, he joined the service of the Nigerian Postal Service in 1990 and had served in different capacities with a proven record of excellent performance.
