Paga Processes N6.1trn Payments In 10years

Paga, the payments and financial services ecosystem for Africa has processed over N6.1 trillion in payments on its platform in 10 years with the latest N2 trillion taking just eight months, demonstrating the company’s exponential growth and soaring engagement levels.

This was revealed Tuesday at the launch of its ‘Making Life Possible’ brand campaign that tells the story of the Orange ship which has empowered people to simplify their lives and businesses for over a decade.

 

Paga, founded in 2012, is one of Africa’s most pioneering fintech companies which has, since its inception been building an ecosystem to enable the African consumer to send, pay, and bank digitally. It focuses on helping both consumers and sellers pay, get paid, and access financial services directly and also through its Platform-as-a-Service, which enables other third Parties to leverage the deep infrastructure Paga has built to enable endless possibilities.
