A first set of appointments has been made by Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, popularly known as Abba Gida-Gida.
His Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, announced the appointments in a statement.
According to the statement, Hon. Shehu Wada Sagagiis the Chief of Staff, while Abdullahi Baffa Bichi is the Secretary to the State Government.
Dr. Farouq Kurawa is the Principal Private Secretary and the Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo is, Chief Protocol.
The statement says the appointments take effect from today, Monday 29th May 2023.
“The appointees were selected based on their track record, commitment, and loyalty,” the statement read.
The governor took his Oath of Office earlier on Monday. He has since taken some actions and made bold pronouncements.
