The Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Victoria Island, Lagos played host to the annual USA College and Career Fair in Lagos last week.
The Fair provides an opportunity for prospective international students to learn directly from admissions officers from US college representatives. They learn about application requirements, funding opportunities and everything that U.S. education has to offer. It is usually organized by the U.S. Mission.
U.S. Consul General, Will Stevens at the Fair said that America remains a leading destination for international students, noting the United States offers students an unrivalled educational experience, flexibility, and diversity.
“We are happy to provide Nigerian students who wish to study in the United States with a unique opportunity to learn about the diversity of the programs offered at various U.S. educational institutions,”
Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria, Bolaji Lawal stated that he was impressed with partnering with the US agency to provide an avenue for students willing to further their education in the United States to interact with college representatives. He was optimistic that admission seekers would now have firsthand information that would inform their choices.
The Fair attracted various schools from Lagos state including interested members of the public.
