For long days and months of sweating, hot and harsh dry season, comes that joyful refreshing coolness that come with the rainy season. In this period, it is important to note that the skin needs to be pampered and well cared for. It is not a time to lazy about with one’s skin and get carried away by the coolness of the weather.
Because the season comes with dampness, lots of skin infections are contacted owing to rainfall and attendant floods in some cases. Hence the skin should be adequately taken care of to keep it radiating, glowing and healthy and away from infections.
Here are some necessary tips to keep the skin moist, glowing and healthy.
Take enough of water to stay hydrated.
Drinking plenty water at least 8 glasses in rainy days helps to keep the skin glowing. Dehydration leads to dry, blotchy skin.
We should not be carried away with the low temperature that hardly makes us feel thirsty.
Exfoliate your skin.
Rainy days are actually best time to exfoliate the skin because as calm as the weather is so also should the skin be. The skin needs proper care.
Exfoliating the skin in this season makes it more effective. It gives the skin a tender look and redeem it from the harshness brought about by the hard, sunny and sweltering heat weather before the rainy days. So exfoliating the skin at least twice a week will get rid of the dead cells and keep it glowing.

Sunscreen.
