Job description

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing Dealers in their respective regions

  • Designing and implementing strategic sales plan through dealership that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Nigerian market space

  • Recruiting and  managing Dealers by setting sales objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of dealers in their respective sales zones

 

Job brief

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.

  • You will be responsible for establishing dealership across your sales zone

  • Maximizing sales through your potential dealers by crafting sales plans, promotional supports and justifying those plans to the upper management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing your regions’ sales dealers

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in our chosen market space in Nigeria

  • Recruit, set objectives, coaching and monitor the performance of your region’s sales dealers to meet your set target

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with your region’s sales dealers by understanding their needs to give them the required promotional support

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team for decision making

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

 

Requirements

  • First or second degree in business administration or a related field

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
