Seplat Gains N29.128bn As Conoil Dips 10%
The market capitalisation of Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc rose by N29.128 billion, representing a 10 per cent growth in its total market base.
The market capitalisation opened at N291,280 billion at Monday’s trading session closed at N320.408 billion.
The share price of the Oil giant also surged from N495 per share to N544.5 per share. The company’s outstanding shares are put at 588,444,561.
Check by InsideBusiness shows that the N544.5 per share Seplat’s shares rose to on Monday is its highest share price in weeks, as it had consistently traded for 495 per shares before the N49.5 value leap.
On the other hand, the shares of Conoil Plc fell by 10 per cent as it market capitalisation depreciated to N13.115 billion down from N14. 572 billion.
The value of its share price also declined by 10 per cent to close at N18. 90 per share from N21 per share. Conoil Plc outstanding shares currently stand at 693,952,117.
