Following the steep fall of the Naira, the Senate Wednesday resolved to summon the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele to know the strategies to prevent the final crash of the currency.
The country currently battles skyrocketing inflation and forex crisis which have continued to plunge Nigerians into hardship.

The resolution of the Senate followed a motion moved by Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, representing Ekiti North Senatorial District.
