Rivers APC Leaders Dump Wike, Pledge Support To Governor Fubara
Factional leaders of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), in Rivers State have pledged their support to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, dealing a blow to the camp of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
At a press conference in Port Harcourt, former APC leaders and elected officials stated their commitment to supporting the development agenda of Governor Fubara.
Prominent figures amongst those who declared their loyalty to Fubara’s administration are Hon. Raymond Nwokocha and Hon. Austin Ahiamadu, former chairmen of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area.
The list of defectors includes high-profile names such as Hon. Chikordi Ogwurie Dike, former Obio/Akpor APC leader, and Hon. George Ukwuomanwogba, former State Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Etche LGA.
Other notable personalities who declared support for Fubara include former council chairmen, party officials, and respected community leaders from various local government areas in the state.
