The newly appointed acting Director General of the Department of State Services, Matthew Seiyefa has assured that the service will collaborate with all stakeholders in the management of security in the country.
Seiyefa who gave the assurance at his maiden briefing in abuja said the service will continue to protect the Nation’s interest as it will also adhere and respect the legitimate rights of the citizens.
The DG pledged to redouble efforts in the area of intelligent gathering and can not be intimidated and coward as the peace and security of the country comes first.
When asked on the continued detention of the former  National Security Adviser, Seiyefa noted that he has just been taken over from his predecessor, Lawal Daura who was sack few days ago but pledged to brief as soon as he finishes been briefed.
Former DG, of DSS, Lawal Daura was sacked following the blockade of the National Assembly Complex on Tuesday.
