Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested six male suspects over assaulting a 24-year-old lady in an indecent video. The six suspected boys were said to have molested the young girl, sending the video recordings of the barbaric scene on the internet.
The assaulted lady was said to have stolen a mobile phone belonging to Otoghile Joel after which she was carried to Lucky Igbinovia’s house where she was tortured.
The six male suspects are: Otoghile Joel, Lucky Igbinovia (Alias one man squad): Edobor Osemwengie (Manager of Lafun Hotel), Kingsley Iyamu, Gregg Eweka and Friday Omorogbe
Following the incident, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, swung into action and ordered that a comprehensive investigation and report be carried out in which the Edo Police Command, led by its Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, recorded a breakthrough after
Two other male suspects are still at large as efforts are being intensified to arrest and bring them to justice while the police have established contact with the young girl whose health status and recovery rate are being monitored.
Meanwhile, the Police condemn jungle justice, warning of dire consequences against anybody who resorts to criminal acts of self-help.
