#ElectionDay: Voter Apathy Greets Lagos Election

As both Presidential and National Assembly came up today in Lagos, Many of the areas within Lagos metropolis witnessed voter apathy as scanty number of people came out to vote.

The scanty numbers of those who voted were reflected in the actual figures of those who voted when the results were collated by the assistant returning officers

Especially the youths, who were of voting age were seeing loitering about, converting the roads to football pitch, while many other adults stayed at home.

This was noticeable around places such as Iyana Ipaja, Agege, Abule Egba, Mary Land, Ikeja, Ogba, Alimosho, Mushin, Shomolu and many other arrears.
