President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday received the N8.916 trillion budget for 2019 recently passed by the federal parliament.
Mustapha Dawaki, Chairman, House committee on appropriations who disclosed this noted that this year budget was characterized by delays by some ministers and heads of agencies in defending the budgetary proposals.
“As you know, we have passed the 2019 budget of N8.916 trillion and will be transmitted to President Muhammadu Buhari On Thursday, May 2 for assent.
