Sterling Bank Appoints Temitayo Adegoke Secretary

Sterling Bank Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Temitayo Adegoke as its Company Secretary and Chief Legal Counsel.
The bank’s Principal Counsel, Sunny Kanabe said Thursday that Adegoke whose appointment is duly approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will replace Ms. Justina Lewa who retired after 28 years of meritorious service.
Adegoke is a seasoned professional with over 15 years experience. Before joining the Sterling Team, Adegoke was the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited (RMBN).
Prior to joining RMBN, she had worked at First Bank of Nigeria Limited and the Commercial Law Firm of Aluko and Oyebode.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos, a Master’s degree in Law from Kings College, London, the United Kingdom and an MBA degree from the University of Warwick, also in UK.
Adegoke was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002 after successfully completing her Law School programmes. She is a member of several professional bodies including, honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, member International Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Nigerian Branch).
Mrs. Adegoke brings to the Sterling Team, the knowledge, skills and extensive experience garnered over the years.
